Time-controlled show start via the Scheduler
A show on the CF card can also be started in dependence on
date and time settings. This requires the DCF-77 Receiving
Module
SCF-RCC.
This Receiving Module is able to receive
the radio clock signal of the Frankfurt transmitter in nearly all
regions of Europe. This signal contains the current date and
Central European time.
The DCF-77 Receiving Module is connected to the Remote
connector of the SC MASTER 6/16. As an indication for a
correctly received signal, the PC LED flashes briefly every
second, but only if the PC connection has been established.
After a synchronization period of about 2 minutes, the current
date and time will appear on the SC MASTER 6/16 display.
For optimum reception, the DCF 77 Receiving Module should
be mounted in the open or at least in a location which is not
close to any metal objects. The orientation of the Receiving
Module should be such that the arrow on the housing points
towards Frankfurt.
A Schedule file allows you to specify the time, when the SC
MASTER 6/16 is to start a particular show. This file must also
be located in the corresponding CF card directory. Obviously,
you should create the file via the "Edit" button in the "Flash-
Card Settings" dialog. This ensures that the file is located in
the correct directory. Additionally, you should place a check-
mark next to "Activate scheduler".
Details on the command syntax are described in the Wings
Platinum Online Help.
