Remote Input and Key Mask
The SC Master 6/16 can be remotely controlled via four differ-
ent input ports:

Starting of three shows via the 14-pin Remote connector
by closing the contacts between pin 2+3, pin 1+3 and pin
1+2+3.

Data I/O connector allows connection of the following input
units:

Key matrix 4x4 for 16 keys. With matrix cabling only
one key press is recognized at a time. In the Remote

these inputs correspond to the first 16 Remote entries.

OpenCollector16-Remote for 8 contacts in parallel
mode (simultaneous key presses are recognized) In
the Remote table these inputs correspond to the first 8
Remote entries. (Address space of open-collector out-
puts within the SC MASTER 6/16: 1/74 – 1/89)

Remote 16in for 16 contacts in parallel mode (simulta-
neous key presses are recognized). In the Remote ta-
ble these inputs correspond to the first 16 Remote en-
tries.
