Power On Volume:
Set the volume level of that zone when powered on.
Default state for this option is set to “Off”. Click to set to “ON” then click
the arrows next to “Power on Volume Level” to set the volume level.
Mono/Stereo:
Set the Zone to Mono or Stereo Output
.
Source Delays:
Set the number of seconds to delay playback from a
source.
Note:
Click “Save”before navigating away from this page to ensure all
changes are saved.
Keypad Ports Tab
Configure Keypad Port:
Configure any keypads connected to the
amplifier. (Look up options). Unresponsive keypads can be reset from this
screen.
Zone Groups:
Zone Groups can be configured to be linked by power,
Volume or both. Zones in a group are unlimited, however a single zone
can only be included in a single group.
Click “Add Zone Group”, then click on the zone to add it to the new
zone group. Click “Save” once all desired zones have been added to the
group.
Once the zone group is created, it will be named after the lowest
numbered zone in the group. Choose to link power, volume or both.
Click “Modify” to add or remove zones from the group, then click
“Save” to retain changes. Clicking “Delete” will remove the zone group.
Click “Delete” then click “Yes” to confirm and remove the zone group.
Preset Groups:
Preset groups assign zones to the same preset slots on
connected Servers. Assign Preset Groups with easily identifiable names,
and set to read only to prevent end user changes. Zone group inclusion
does not exclude a zone from being included in a Preset group.
Click “Add Preset Group”, then click on the zone to add it to the new zone
group. Click “Save” once all desired zones have been added to the group.
Click “Read/Write” to change the property of the Preset group to “Read
Only” Conversely, Click “Read Only” To set the property to “Read/Write”.
Once the zone group is created, it will be named “Group 1”.
Click “Modify” to add or remove zones from the group, then click
“Save” to retain changes. Clicking “Delete” will remove the zone group.
Click “Delete” then click “Yes” to confirm and remove the preset group.
Using the MMS with Third-Party Amplifiers
Audio Connection:
Set to “Zone Player” when connecting to a third-
party amplifier or control system.
Fixed Volume:
The MMS output will be fixed at 100% volume. Control
the volume using the available methods from the third-party amplifier or
control system vendor.
Variable Volume:
Set the volume to variable only if using the MMS
without a control system or controllable amplifier and require volume to
be adjusted on the MMS.
TIP:
Verify the maximum supported audio rate of the third-party
amplifier when connecting it to the MMS via digital audio.
