8. Les feux de stationn ement clignote nt 2 fois pour con firme r la con figur ation du mode Prêt à
démarrer.
Pour Dé marrer
Appuyez sur la touche pendan t en viron 1 seconde . Les fe ux de statio nnement s’allum eront
pour vous indiquer q ue le Télédém arre ur a reçu votr e signal. Le mo teur dém arr era envir on
5 secondes plus ta rd. L es feux de stationnemen t de meurer on t allum és pendant la duré e de
marche p rép rog ram mé e.
Si votre véh icule ne d ém arr e pa s dè s la pr emiè re tentative, le système s’éteind ra, attendra
quelques secon des et tenter a à no uvea u de dém arr er le mote ur. L e système pr océder a à
3 tentatives de dé mar rag e, avant d’abandonn er e n cas d’échecs rép étés.
Pour Partir
Suite à un télédémar rag e, lorsque l e moteur tou rne, enfo ncez la touche pour désar me r le
Dispo sitif d’antidé marrage ( si install é) et déverr ouiller les port ières. En trez da ns le véhicule et
procédez com me suit :
1. Tournez la clé dans le co mmutate ur d’allum age en position d’allumage ( Run ). (N e tourn ez
pas la clé en posit ion de démarrage ( Crank ) pend ant que le moteur e st en ma rche. Ceci
amène rait un su rdéma rra ge.)
2. Actionnez la pédale de frein p our dés engage r le mod ule de dé marr age à d istance.
Vous pouvez maintenant p art ir.
Remarque : Dans certains véhicules équipés de l’option « PT S », la Pr ise en char ge de l’option
« PTS » n’est pas possible puisque le fr ein éteint le moteu r peu import e le cas. Veuillez en par ler à
votre technicien afin de déterm iner si la Pr ise en char ge de l’option « PT S » peut fonctionner dans
votre véhicule.
Armeme nt et désar me me nt du S yst ème
L’alarme pe ut êt re con figur ée à l’installat ion soit en mode pas sif (de maniè re à s’ar mer
automatiquem ent) ou e n mode acti f (de manièr e à re ndr e n écessaire l’int erv ention de l’utilisat eur
pour l’ar me ment ). Pa r déf aut, le télédé marr eur es t configuré en mode passif .
Mode Passif :
Pour armer le systèm e :

Appuyez sur la to uche de la télécom mande.
OU

Laissez le systè me s’ar mer au to mat iqu emen t 1 minute (p ar dé fa ut) ou 3 minu tes ( si con figu ré
de la sorte) après que le contac t ait été mis en position d’arrê t ( OFF ), ou une fois la der nière
portière r efe rm ée (si l es portières son t surveil lées).

Le voyant DEL sur l’antenne c lignotera rapide ment lors du com pte à r ebo urs pr écédan t
l’activation du système.

À l’expiration du décompte d’activa tion, la DEL clignoter a lente ment po ur ainsi indiquer
que le système est m ainten ant ar mé .

Remote-starting
Press the button for approximately 1 second. The parking lights will turn ON to inform you that
the Remote Car Starter has received your signal. Approximately 5 seconds later, the engine will
start. The parking lights will remain
ON during the pre-programmed run time of the engine.
If your vehicle does not start at the first attempt, the system will shut down, wait a few seconds and
try to start the engine again. There will be 3 start attempts before the system gives up.
Driving Off
With the vehicle running remotely, press the button to disarm the starter kill (if installed) and
unlock the doors. Enter the vehicle and do the following:
Turn the ignition key to the
IGNITION ON (RUN) position. (Do not turn the key to the CRANK
position while the engine is running. This would cause the starter motor to re-engage.)
Press the brake pedal to disengage the remote starter unit.
You are now ready to drive off.
Note: On some Push-To-Start (PTS) vehicles, no takeover is possible as pressing the brakes will
shut the engine down. Please talk to your technician to determine if the “Takeover mode” can be
set for your vehicle.
Arming and disarming the System
The Alarm can be configured by the installer either to Passive Mode (so as to arm automatically) or
Active Mode (so as to require the user’s intervention for arming). By default, the Remote Car
Starter is configured to Passive Mode
Passive mode:
To
arm the alarm:
Press the button on the transmitter.
OR
Let the alarm arm automatically 1 minute (by default) or 3 minutes (if configured this way) after the
ignition is turned
OFF or once the last door is closed (if the doors are monitored).
The LED on the antenna will flash quickly during the countdown preceding the activation of the
system.
Once the activation countdown expires, the LED will flash slowly to indicate that the alarm is now
armed.
To disarm the alarm:

Press the button on the transmitter.

The alarm will automatically rearm itself after 1 minute (by default) or 3 minutes (if configured this
way) if no door is left opened (if the doors are monitored) and the ignition is
not turned ON .
Active Mode:

1. The siren will chirp once.
2. The LED on the antenna will flash slowly.
