8. Cleaning and maintenance
We recommend that you protect your
valuable mattress with a flannel
undersheet. If stains should occur, you
can read how to remove them in
Chapter 9 (Tips for spot removal). If
you are unable to remove the stains
you can have the mattress cover dry-
cleaned (occasionally), wash it in the
washing machine at 60 ˚C (140 ˚F) if
you have the knitted fabric cover, or
even have it replaced (at extra cost).
Before starting to clean the mattress,
the AirMassage/Hotspot must be
switched off. Do not switch it on again
while it is still wet.
Remove the mattress cover from the
mattress before cleaning it. Do not
use bleach or any other caustic
agents. Allow the mattress cover to
dry thoroughly after cleaning. Please
observe the cleaning instructions on
the label.
Air the mattress regularly but not in
direct sunlight or in damp weather.
Remove dust with a soft brush. Do not
use a vacuum cleaner or carpet beater.
Regularly check the mattress for wear
or damage.
Contact your dealer immediately if the
mattress is damaged.
