The selected handset will be deregistered. Its display will show the message Please register.
Repeaters
The use of repeaters allows you to extend the range and improve the signal strength of your base
station.
Note: Every repeater supports up to two simultaneous handset communications.
Setting up Handsets for the Use of Repeaters
Requirements:
– Base station connected to PBX
– Handset registered with base station
– Handset within range of the base station
1.
Press the softkey under Menu.
2.
Using your navigation keys, navigate to the Settings option and press the softkey under
OK.
3.
Using your navigation keys (up/down), navigate to the Repeater setting and press the
softkey under OK.
The current setting will be shown.
4.
Using your navigation keys (left/right), navigate to the On setting and press the softkey
under OK..
You will be asked to confirm the action.
5.
Press the softkey under Save.
Registering Repeaters with the Base Station
Up to six COMfortel DECT Repeater.2 can be registered with one COMfortel DECT 900 Base900.
