type list, select DECT system telephone.
5. Open one of the following pages:
• COMpact 2204/2206/4410 USB, COMpact 4406 DSL, COMmander Basic, COMmander
Basic 19": COMfortel DECT > scr -> handsets
• COMpact-3000 series: CONFIGURATION > Internal number > ISDN subscribers (S0
internal) and then DECT settings and DECT subscriber
• COMpact 5010/5020 VoIP, COMmander Basic.2, COMmander Basic.2 19", COMmander
Business, COMmander Business 19": COMset > Internal numbers > Subscriber (scr.)
> COMfortel DECT > Scr -> handsets
6. Select the base station type:
• COMpact 2204/2206/4410 USB, COMpact 4406 DSL, COMmander Basic, COMmander
Basic 19": From the Base station type list, select COMfortel DECT 900.
• COMpact-3000 series: no action required
• COMpact 5010/5020 VoIP, COMmander Basic.2, COMmander Basic.2 19", COMmander
Business, and COMmander Business 19": From the DECT base list, select COMfortel
DECT 900.
7. Under IPUI of the handset / serial number of the handset, enter the identification number
of the COMfortel DECT 900/900C handset into the input field for the corresponding DECT
subscriber. Then select the handset type from the list field (DECT 900 or DECT 900C).
Note:
Every IPUI may be assigned to one telephone number only.
If the base station has already been connected to the PBX and handsets have been
registered, you can (after a short waiting period) view a list with the IDs of these
handsets in the list field and then select a number with a click of your mouse.
You can query the IPUI from the handset as described in chapter Querying Device
Identification Numbers (IPUI or RFPI) and Handset Numbers on page 83 .
