This section should assist you in resolving small disruptions yourself.
The telephone is not working!

Make sure that the plug on the
connectioncord and the headset spiral
cable are correctly inserted into the
sockets.

Connect another telephone to the
telephone connection socket. If the
problem continues despite using a
different telephone, the problem may
lie with your network provider or with
the PBX in between.
The telephone does not ring!

Make sure your ringer is turned on.

The telephone does not dial!

Make sure the correct dialling type is

My communication partner cannot
hear me!

Check whether Mute is activated.
Deactivate it by pressing the
Microphone key

The speed dialling keys are not
working as expected!

If you are operating your telephone on
a PBX, external calls may require that
you dial the exchange line access
number (for example, “0”) before
dialling the actual telephone number.
This must be programmed into the unit.

If your are operating your telephone on
a PBX, it may be necessary to enter
specific dialling pauses for external
calls.
The telephone number of the caller
is not shown on the telephone
display!

Check whether the transmission of
telephone numbers has been enabled
by your network provider.

If your telephone is being operated on
an Auerswald PBX, check whether the
required settings for displaying
telephone numbers have been
configured. See

The caller can suppress the telephone
number. In this case, your display will
show either no telephone number or
the message “PRIVATE”.
