Reset Telephone to Factory 
Settings 

If necessary, you can reset your telephone
back to the factory settings. When this is
done, all personal information
(for example, the caller list) and any
settings you have configured (for example,
your telephone book) will be deleted.

1.

Press the Menu key.

2.

Press keys # 2 0 1  in sequence.

3.

Press the OK key  .

Note: If you would like to cancel the
operation, press the Exit key.

Selecting the Language

The telephone supports 16 display
languages. The following describes how to
set your country language and country.

1.

Press the Menu key.

2.

Use the arrow keys     to scroll to the
SET LANGUAGE menu. 

3.

Press the OK key  .

The currently set language is
displayed.

4.

Use the arrow keys     to scroll to the
language you want.

5.

Press the OK key   .

Setting the Ringer Rhythm

There are five different ringer rhythms to
choose from.

1.

Press the Menu key.

2.

Use the arrow keys     to scroll to the
SET RING menu. 

3.

Press the OK key

4.

Use the arrow keys     to scroll to the
RING TYPE menu. 

5.

Press the OK key 

.

The currently set ringer rhythm is
displayed.

6.

Use the arrow keys     to scroll to the
ringer rhythm you want.

7.

Press the OK key 

.

The currently set ringer rhythm is
played.

Note: If you would like to change the
ringer rhythm again, repeat steps 5-7.

Adjusting or Disabling the Ringer 
Volume

You can adjust the ringer volume to four
levels or disable the ringer.

Note: 

Once you have disabled the

ringer, only callers marked as VIPs are
signalled acoustically (see 

Page 30

).

Note: In the idle state, you can also set
the ringer volume using the plus/
minus keys.

Use the arrow keys     to scroll to the
SET RING menu.

RING VOLUME menu.
