My Telephone does not ring!

Please check if the sliding switch
on the backside of your telephone

. If yes, your
telephone does not ring. The
switch has to be in position low
or loud
.

Make sure that the plugs of the
telephone connection cord and the
receiver twisted cord are attached
correctly.
The Memory Keys do not work as ex-
pected!

Make sure that you have not en-
tered any telephone number that is
longer than 18 digits.
햳
If your telephone is connected to a
PBX, the exchange line access
number (e.g. „0“) in front of the ac-
tual telephone number is neces-
sary for external calls. It has to be
programmed, too.
햴
If your telephone is connected to a
PABX, the entry of certain time
breaks may be necessary for ex-
ternal calls. Please ask your net-
work provider for more details.

If you have removed the batteries
for more than 60 seconds from the
telephone, it may have lost the
memory. You have to edit all mem-
ory entries again.
The Caller’s Telephone Number
does not appear on the Display of
the Telephone!

Check if the presentation of the
telephone number has been en-
abled by the network provider.
햳
If your telephone is connected to
an Auerswald PBX, please check
if the settings necessary for the
telephone number display are cor-
rect (see
with an Auerswald PBX system on
page 20

Callers can suppress the tele-
phone number. In this case „PRI-
VATE“ is shown on the display (or.
„0“ for operation with a PBX) .
