Save a Telephone Number in the destina-
tion speed dialing memory
There are three destination speed dialing memo-
ries for the most frequently dialed numbers.
During the entry of telephone numbers
you can delete the last digit with the delete
key
.
You can additionally store the DTMF signs

and
*
with the digits z

. Besides this you can
enter pauses with the redialing key
between
the digits if necessary.
If the telephone number entry is longer than 18
digits, the message „TOO LONG“ will appear on
the display and the telephone number will not be
stored.
To overwrite a destination speed dialing memory,
simply redo the same procedure. A separate dele-
tion of the destination speed dialing memory is not
available.
Operation with a PBX: Please add a preceding
exchange line access number to an external tele-
phone number (e.g. „0“).
Save a Telephone Number in the Short-
Code Dialing Memory
Additional to the three destination speed dialing
memories there are ten short-code dialing memo-
ries available for other important telephone num-
bers.
If you finally press one of the destination
speed dialing keys (M1-M3) instead of
one of the digit keys the telephone number will not
be saved as a short-code dialing number but as a
destination speed dialing number.
During the entry of the telephone number you can

press or permit the display of the day
of the week or (– for „no display “).
Press the setting key.
In the third display line there is the
setting for the display contrast.
With the arrow keys you can select
the requested contrast (high or low).
Press the OK key to confirm your
selection.
