Network trouble shooting
In case the STERN is not able to connect to the selected wireless network, the
display of the STERN will inform you about the problem. This might occur most
likely if a wrong passphrase is entered during the initial setup or if the access
point that is providing the selected wireless network is powered down / not
available.
You have 3 choices to continue:
Ignore
By using this option, you ignore the error and continue working
with the STERN. This will be usually the case, if you know the
preferred wireless network is down and you want use the
STERN with the remote control and front panel control ele-
ments in the meantime. You may always restart or reset the net-
work connection later (see section below).
Retry
Choose this option if you want to retry to establish a connection
with the current settings. This is the case if you don't want to
change the settings, but you need to repeat the connection at-
tempt, maybe because your router / access point was not fully up
and running at the time the STERN tried to connect to it.
