Software is installed on managing PC (personal computer), positioned inside
cabin. EPIA managing PC M830 features:

3.3 3D
cameras
The Cyclops 3D cameras do not need any cable or cord connection for angle
measurement or data transmission. Detecting units consist of 2 megapixel
cameras for each 3D camera. Each camera features a set of high ef
fi
ciency
infrared LED’s, used to light the 3D targets
fi
tted on the wheels of the vehicle.
Data is transmitted directly VIA RADIO through
modules located inside
the 3D cameras and cabin.
Characteristic angles of both axles of the vehicle are controlled and compensated
by 4 CCD sensors and 2 electronic inclinometers located inside the two 3D
cameras. Data transmission among infrared 3D cameras is effective also under
critical lighting conditions.
Power is supplied by rechargeable 12V long-lasting batteries. Batteries are
recharged when they are inserted into the recharge supports located on the
cabin (see part 3.1).
