Mains connection
Compare the voltage given on the machine model plate e.g.
230 V with the mains voltage and connect the saw to the
relevant and properly earthed plug
L
Alternating current motor:
Use a shockproof plug, mains voltage 230 V with residual
current circuit breaker and 10 A inert fuses.
Use connection cable or extension cable respectively with a
cross section of at least 1,5 mm².
Daily checks of the PRCD (residual-current-operated
circuit breaker)
The device must be connected via the residual-current-
operated circuit breaker (PRCD).
„Reset“
„Test“
Perform this check once in a
day.
When changing the location
no further test is required.
1.
Directly plug the PRCD into the outlet (vertical).
2.
Press the “Reset” key – you will hear a click and the
indicator panel will light up red.
3.
To check the PRCD press the “Test” key. The inspection
panel no longer shows any colour.
4.
Press the “Reset key” again – the indicator panel will light
up red again.
5.
The machine can be started.
Switch on
Do not use any device where the switch can not be
switched on and off. Damaged switches must be repaired
or replaced immediately by the customer service.
Check that the PRCD is operative: indicator panel red.
Press the green button ( I ) on the
switch. At the same time, check
whether the rotating direction of the
cutting-off wheel corresponds to
the indicated rotational direction on
the protection cover (arrow).
L
If there is a power cut, the machine switches off automati-
cally. To restart, press the green button again.
Switching off
Press the red button ( 0 ) on the switch.

Before commencing work, ensure the
following:
Workplace tidied?
Is the radial tile cutter stably mounted?
Check before starting to work whether the rotational
direction of the cutting-off wheel agrees with the rotational
direction indicated by the arrow on the cover hood.
You may not start to operate the machine until you have
read these operating instructions, observed all the
instructions given and installed the machine as described!
Working with the radial tile cutter
Keep your hands always in a safe distance to the
rotating cutting-off wheel.
Do not start working before the cutting-off wheel has
reached its maximum rotational frequency.
Pay attention to that the cooling water pump washes water
to the cutting-off wheel.
Always use the stop supplied when cutting.
Only workpieces which have been securely mounted and
aligned can be processed.
In any case, adhere to all safety notes (see "Safe
working").
