Short Guide for Calibration of pH corrected Q45H62 chlorine monitor

This guide is intended for use for routine calibration only. If problems during calibration occur please consult the
full O&M manual. Main thing to remember is to calibrate the pH using 2 standards prior to calibrating the chlorine
(only when the correction is turned ON).

General

To calibrate the Q45H62 Residual Chlorine Monitor with pH correction turned ON you will need:

1.

pH buffers. Ideally pH 4 and pH 7. On applications with pH 7+ use buffers 7 and 10.

2.

Method of determining the level of residual chlorine, e.g. Hach colorimeter or Palin test.

3.

Chlorinated water 0. for calibration (this minimum is required due to potential error of dpd test.
