deactivating the battery disconnect switch.

Before proceeding with the interventions, make sure the platform is
completely blocked.

•

If the work platform must be raised for maintenance purposes, the platform
and  lifting  structure  must  be  prevented  from  accidentally  lowering.  To  do
this, there is a device on the lift arm that must be set in a precise position so
as to immobilize the scissor structure (see procedure described below).
The MEWP is equipped with two devices on the sides of the pantograph.
WARNING:  It  is  mandatory  to  position  both  devices  before  performing  any
operation in the machine.
