DANCE:
This preset is designed to preserve the punch and slam in dance music
percussion (such as the beater click in kick drums). It is loud and has a bright high
frequency texture.

LIGHT INSTRUMENTAL:
An alias for the JAZZ preset.

HIP HOP:
Similar to ROCK but having less compression.
•
COMEDY
: Similar to NEWS-TALK but having less compression.
6.2 Custom Profile Creation
As mentioned above a user may start from a factory preset and then tune
parameters associated with one or more processing blocks to create a
signature on-air
sound
. Alternatively user may want to invoke a processing block which was
previously unused. These tasks can be accomplished using either the TFT touch
screen interface or Screen 3 or the SoundMax Manager Software as described in
Section 5; with the SoundMax Manager providing a much higher level of control in
terms of tuning the processing parameters as described above. Once a user is satisfied
with the sound the resulting profile may then be saved as a custom profile either from
the TFT or Controller and available as an option in future.
