SATA(SATA5,6) and M.2 Configuration [Auto]
This item allows you to set an automatic detection between the M.2 devices and SATA
devices installed on SATA ports 5 and 6.
[Auto]
The system automatically detects the connected SATA and M.2 devices
and set a higher priority to M.2 interface. The connected device will then
run at PCIe mode first than SATA mode. The SATA devices are available
when no M.2 devices are installed.
[SATA]
The system assigns the priority bandwidth to SATA (SATA5.6) interface
with M.2 Socket 3 disabled.
[M.2]
The system assigns the priority bandwidth to M.2 Socket 3 with SATA
(SATA5.6) interface disabled.
SATA Mode Selection [AHCI]
Allows you to set the SATA configuration.
[Disabled]
Disables the SATA function.
[IDE]
Set to [IDE] when you want to use the Serial ATA hard disk drives as
Parallel ATA physical storage devices.
[AHCI]
Set to [AHCI] when you want the SATA hard disk drives to use the AHCI
(Advanced Host Controller Interface). The AHCI allows the onboard storage
driver to enable advanced Serial ATA features that increases storage
performance on random workloads by allowing the drive to internally
optimize the order of commands.
[RAID]
Set to [RAID Mode] when you want to create a RAID configuration from the
SATA hard disk drives.
The following item appears only when you set the SATA Mode Selection to
[RAID]
