Central Processing Unit (CPU)

The motherboard comes with an AMD AM4 Socket for 3rd, 2nd and 1st Gen AMD Ryzen™ ,

2nd and 1st Gen AMD Ryzen™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics, and Athlon™ with Radeon™

Vega Graphics Processors.

•

The AM4 socket has a different pinout design. Ensure that you use a CPU designed

for the AM4 socket.

•

The CPU fits in only one correct orientation. DO NOT force the CPU into the socket

to prevent bending the connectors on the CPU and damaging the CPU.

•

Ensure that all power cables are unplugged before installing the CPU.
