NAS
NAS ( Network-attached storage) is a device connected to a network that only
provides file-based data storage services to other devices on the network.
The NAS function allows all networked servers to share their storage files with
networked clients.
• You must have the hard disk drive installed on your O!Play HD2 for using the
NAS function.
• Ensure that your O!Play HD2 is correctly connected to the network. Refer to
Chapter 2 for more details on connecting to a network.
The video/audio/photo playback function is disabled when using NAS.
To use the NAS function on your O!Play HD2:
1. From the Home screen, press the
left/right keys / to navigate to
NAS
, then press .
You may also press
to enter the
NAS
mode.
2. Use the up/down keys / to
select the server that you want to
use, then press the right key or
.
3. Select
On
and press to enable the NAS function on your O!Play HD2.
