Route Command
To view the SAS addresses of the devices in your domain:
At the cli> prompt, type
route -a list
and press Enter.
The system returns:

The route command displays SAS addresses that are attached to the SAS ports
of the ASUS Storage unit. Three items are reported:
•
Entry#
– Arbitrary numbers, listed in sequence
•
SAS Address
– Of the disk drive or other component
•
CnID
– External SAS port connector
CN#1 refers to the SAS IN port and CN#2 refers to the SAS OUT port on the
I/O module. Each port has four PHYs. See page 21, Figure 4.
