NOTE:
• The available device list will be cleared when the pairing process to fails in the following scenarios:
- The smartphone did not receive the pairing request from the CarLink and the pairing timed out.
- The smartphone received the pairing request from the CarLink, but
Cancel
was selected on the smartphone.
- The smartphone received the pairing request from the CarLink, but no action was taken.
- The smartphone received the pairing request from the CarLink, but the smartphone screen is turned off or locked.
• If no sound can be heard from the car speakers after pairing, try adjusting the volume to the maximum on your
smartphone.
• Searching for available devices while streaming audio via Bluetooth may cause stutters or the search process to fail.
• Your voice may become distorted when using Bluetooth microphones to send voice commands to your smartphone,
this may cause voice assistants (such as Siri or Google now) to fail to understand the command.
• If your smartphone supports mirroring and is connected to the CarLink with a cable, the smartphone will
automatically perform Bluetooth pairing and connect. Please refer to
page 10
for more details.
