Additional Tips
9.1.
The power plug on the EQStar requires a 5.5mm outside diameter and a 2.1mm inner pin
diameter. At least with the Meade LXD75 mount, the original power cable appears to be 5.5mm
outside, but 2.5mm inside. As such it does not provide a reliable contact with the inner 2.1mm
pin in the EQStar. The required cable is available from several vendors on Amazon.
9.2.
The LED on the front of the EQStar is not a power indicator. It is a WiFi indicator that should be
lit when WiFi is enabled via the WiFi switch on the front of the EQStar.
