Assembly Guide : 50mm Compact Refractor Telescope

 

INTRODUCTION

  

Congratulations! You have bought a wonderful telescope. This is a precision optical instrument, 

and you have many wonderful evenings of observing the night sky ahead of you. This guide is 

meant to help you assemble your telescope properly.

We know that many people are visually oriented and that pictures of the assembly process are 

helpful. That’s why we’ve included this assembly guide, full of pictures to help you along.

Once your telescope is assembled and ready to go, the rest is up to you. Learning astronomy is 

tons of fun, so let’s get started . . .

Step 1: Insert Eyepiece into Angle Prism

The first step is super simple! Locate one of your Eyepieces and the Angle Prism. Make 

sure the small set screw on the Angle Prism is loosened enough so that the silver end of 

the Eyepiece slides right in (Figure 1). Then, simply tighten the set screw to secure the 

two together (Figure 2).
