Removal
1. Mark position of blade on windscreen.
2. Remove screws (x3) from idler plate.
3. Remove spindle nut and break taper to release arm.
4. Remove wiper blade (see Workshop Manual procedure
01.16.AB Blade Assembly - Wiper - Renew).
Installation
1. Install wiper blade (see Workshop Manual procedure
01.16.AB Blade Assembly - Wiper - Renew).
2. Fit arm to vehicle to idler first (screws x3).
3. Fit arm to spindle, position to marked position and
tighten arm (nut x1) (torque).
4. Operate wiper system with washers to ensure blade has
correct wipe and park position.
Windscreen Reservoir and Motor
Assembly-Renew

Removal
1. Remove RH wheel arch liner.
2. Disconnect Windscreen washer pipe to drain reservoir
into suitable container.
3. Disconnect clips (x2) securing battery harness to bottom
of reservoir (move aside).
4. Disconnect clip (x1) securing level sensor harness to
reservoir.
5. Remove rear lower reservoir fixing.
6. Lower ramp.
7. Disconnect windscreen washer motor multiplug.
8. Unclip headlamp washer pipe and turn motor to
disconnect pipe (quickfit) and multiplug
9. Unclip windscreen Washer pipe from reservoir.
10. Remove reservoir retaining screws (x2).
11. Allow reservoir to drop, then disconnect filler tube (clip
x1).
12. Manoeuvre reservoir down and forward to access,
disconnect level sensor multiplug.
Installation
1. Connect level sensor multiplug and manoeuvre reservoir
into position.
2. Connect filler pipe (clip x1).
3. Install fixing screws (x3).
4. Clip windscreen Washer pipe into reservoir and install
to motor.
5. Clip headlamp washer pipe, connect pipe (quickfit) and
multiplug.
6. Connect windscreen washer motor multiplug.
7. Raise ramp.
8. Connect clip (x1) securing level sensor harness to
reservoir.
9. Connect clips (x2) securing battery harness to bottom of
reservoir
10. Remove RH wheel arch liner.
11. Fill washer reservoir.

Removal
1. Remove nuts (x2) securing reservoir filler neck to
bracket.
2. Release clip and remove reservoir filler neck from filler
tube.
Installation
1. Install filler neck to filler tube (clip x1).
2. Position reservoir filler neck, Install and tighten nuts (x2).
Low Level Water Sensor-Renew

Removal
1. Remove RH wheel arch liner (see Workshop Manual
procedure 01.02.GB Wheel Arch Liner - Front - RH -
Renew
2. Disconnect Windscreen washer pipe to drain reservoir
into suitable container.
3. Disconnect clips (x2) securing battery harness to bottom
of reservoir (move aside).
4. Disconnect clip (x1) securing level sensor harness to
reservoir.
5. Remove rear lower reservoir fixing.
6. Lower ramp.
7. Disconnect windscreen washer motor multiplug.
8. Unclip H/lamp washer pipe and turn motor to
disconnect pipe (quickfit) and multiplug.
9. Unclip W/Washer pipe from reservoir.
10. Remove reservoir retaining screws (x2).
11. Allow reservoir to drop, then disconnect filler tube (clip
x1).
12. Manoeuvre reservoir down and forward to access,
disconnect level sensor multiplug.
13. Remove level sensor and seal from reservoir.
Installation
1. Install level sensor and seal to reservoir.
