6. Lower vehicle on ramp.
Throttle Heating Feed Hose-Renew
Removal
1. Release pressure in cooling system.
2. Place cloth to absorb coolant.
3. Remove hose from throttle body (clip x1).
4. Remove hose from water manifold (clip x1).
Installation
1. Install hose to water manifold (clip x1).
2. Install hose to throttle body (clip x1).
3. Remove cloth and clean engine.
4. Top-up coolant.
Radiator Supply Tank Vent Hose-Renew
Removal
1. Release pressure from expansion tank.
2. Remove hose from clips (x2) to body.
3. Position cloth to catch coolant.
4. Remove hose from expansion tank (clip x1).
5. Remove hose (clip x1) from pipe and vehicle (clips x2).
Installation
1. Install hose (clip x1) to vehicle and pipe (clips x2).
2. Install hose to expansion tank.
3. Install hose from clips (x2) to body.
4. Remove cloth and clean spilt coolant.
5. Top-up coolant.
Expansion Tank Assembly-Renew
Removal
1. Using a syringe, remove coolant from expansion tank.
2. Remove bolts (x4), remove LH corner cross brace.
3. Release clips, disconnect coolant hoses (x3) from
expansion tank.
4. Remove upper bolt and side nut securing expansion
tank.
5. Raise expansion tank sufficient to disconnect multiplug,
release clip, disconnect hose.
6. Remove expansion tank.
Installation
1. Position expansion tank, connect multiplug, install hose
and secure with clip.
2. Install nut and bolt, tighten to correct torque.
3. Install hoses (x3) on expansion tank, secure with clips
(x3).
4. Install LH cross brace, install bolts (x4) (torque with
vehicle on level ground).
5. Refill expansion tank to correct level with correct
coolant fluid mixture.
6. Clean up any spilled coolant fluid.
Coolant Recovery Tank Assembly-Renew
Removal
1. Raise vehicle
2. Remove LH front wheel arch liner (see Workshop
Manual procedure 01.02.FB Wheel Arch Liner - Front -
LH - Renew).
3. Disconnect hose from expansion tank
4. Unclip overflow hose from body clip
5. Remove coolant recovery tank bolts (x2) and remove
tank
Installation
1. Install coolant recovery tank and secure with bolts (x2)
2. Clip overflow hose to body clip
3. Connect expansion tank to recovery tank hose
4. Install wheel arch liner (see Workshop Manual
procedure 01.02.FB Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH -
Renew).
5. Lower vehicle
Radiator Overflow Hose-Renew
Removal
1. Remove LH wheel arch liner (see Workshop Manual
procedure 01.02.FB Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH -
Renew).
2. Remove hose from overflow tank (clip x1) and body
(clip x1).
Installation
1. Install hose to overflow tank (clip x1) and body (clip x1).
2. Install LH wheel arch liner (see Workshop Manual
procedure 01.02.FB Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH -
Renew).
