Electric security lock 809M
General
The
electric security lock 809M
is a mechanically operating mortise lock for use in escape doors, fire doors
and smoke protection doors, as well as standard applications. It offers a panic function for one direction.
Functions
The closed door is always locked automatically (automatic locking).
Some product variants are suitable for emergency exits in accordance with DIN EN 179. They can be
opened from inside at all times using the door handle (Tab. 1).
With a two-part handle follower in combination with a two-part handle pin, the
electric security lock 809M
provides access control and differentiated electronic status messages.
In some product versions both door handles are coupled to an electrical trigger action. These product
versions do not offer panic functionality.
The electric security lock 809M offers
· Intrusion resistance up to resistance class WK2 can be achieved in suitable door systems,
· minimum deadbolt load 6,000 N,
· minimum latchbolt load 3,000 N,
· Escape door function (panic function) possible in accordance with DIN EN 179,
· permitted for fire doors,
· one-sided panic functionality (in product versions with one-sided electrically deactivating door handles),
· automatic locking,
· monitored locking with extensive reporting and monitoring functions,
· two-part handle follower with electrically activating outer handle.
