GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Please read operator manual prior to the installation and start-up of your filter unit!
2) If you still have questions, please contact ASKAYNAK before implementing any
kind of operation!
3) Filter unit is only designed to work with emissions that are listed at Table A2.
4) If you don’t know characteristics of your process emissions, please contact
ASKAYNAK before implementing any kind of operation! Do not use same filter
unit for different type of dust and emissions!
5) Keep this operating manual handy and close to operator at all times and refer to
it if necessary!
6) Make sure that warning label on the Mobile Filter Unit is present and readable
condition at all times! Replace missing or unreadable warning labels! Contact to
ASKAYNAK Service for your label requests.
7) Filter units are non-Explosion proof and they cannot be placed in Explosive
zones that are identified in and part of ATEX or NFPA standards.
8) Read and Follow safety instruction that are indicated in this operator manual
while implementing any kind of operation on the filter unit!
9) Before implementing any operation, be sure that filter unit power connection is
off and compulsory maintenance warning sign in place to prevent any secondary
intervention!
10) All Installation, maintenance and repair work must be implemented by trained
and authorized electrician and maintenance technicians!
11) Obey regular maintenance program, instructions and safety instructions!
12) In case of dust detection in the clean air side of the filter unit, stop the operation
and change filter elements immediately!
13) Do not operate Mobile Filter Unit without closing service cover, Main Filter or
Spark Arrestor prefilter in place or without filter sealing plate in place in order to
create leak free operation!
14) Dispose accumulated dust inside filter unit’s dust tray and exhausted filter
elements according to National and Local Codes!
TRANSPORT, POSITIONING AND SECURING:
1) Mobile filter unit can be positioned freely with its wheels.
2) Consider filter unit weight and make sure that carrying floor can withstand weight
of the unit. (See Table A3)
3) Activate brakes of the wheels when unit is stopped.
