Installation Precautions and Notes

CE Installation Precautions
All wirings must comply with the local regulations;
•
The supply wiring should be routed away from the power cables;
•
Avoid to use electromagnetic contactors, power relays and high power motors nearby;
•
Avoid power units nearby, especially if controlled in phase angle;
•
Keep the low level sensor input wires away from the power lines and the output cables.
If this is not achievable, use shielded cables on the sensor input, with the shield con-
nected to earth.

Installation Notes
•
Make sure that the power supply voltage is the same indicated on the instrument label.
•
Switch ON the power supply only after all the electrical connections have been com-
pleted.

Power Supply Connections
3-3-1
P04 Power Supply
The power supply is to be provided to the operator panel via terminals 4 and 5 of the
terminal block. The connector is not polarized as the panel is internally protected. The plus
(+) and minus (-) power supply poles can be freely connected to terminals 4 and 5.
The power supply terminals ar fully isolated from the communication connectors.
