7.2 Filling with fuel
DANGER!
Switch off motor and allow to cool down. The machine must be secured against unintentional starting.
Petrol is very easily inflammable and can be explosive under certain conditions.
Only fill with fuel in well-ventilated surroundings with the motor turned off. Do not smoke while filling
or in locations where fuel is stored, and keep naked flames or sparks away.
Do not overfill the tank. Do not fill with fuel so that the filler neck is full. Ensure that the fuel tank cap
is properly closed after filling with fuel.
Ensure that no fuel is spilt during filling. Petrol fumes or spilt fuel can ignite. If petrol has been spilt,
you must make sure that this area has dried out and that the petrol fumes have dispersed before
starting the motor.
Avoid repeated or long-term contract with the skin and breathing-in of vapours.
ALWAYS STORE PETROL OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
Read the motor manufacturer’s operating manual
