
6.16 Starting/switching off the motor (brief instructions)
Start-up
IMPORTANT!
Before starting the motor, please ensure that the motor crankcase is filled with sufficient oil. The
motor is not filled with oil when the machine is delivered for transport reasons.
DANGER!
Never run the motor in enclosed or confined spaces. The exhaust fumes contain poisonous carbon
monoxide gas. Ensure that the movement and brush drives are switched off.
The handlebar must be securely engaged at the required height.

Starting the motor
1) Open throttle lever
2)The fuel valve must be
opened (right-hand side
looking forwards).
3) Pull the starter coil.Make sure
you are standing behind the
handlebars and outside the
danger zone.
