ARZUM
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The tank of the unit
is equipped with a
safety valve to avoid
over-pressure. During
normal operation,
some steam/water
discharges from the
steam release hole
at the bottom of the unit. This might happen even if the power is swithed
off.
THE IS NORMAL
and
NOT A FAULT!
CLEANING AND CARE
• Before cleaning the unit, ensure that the
Steam Station is unplugged and that the sole
plate and the iron rest have cooled down.
•
Do not use any cleaning or descaling
products for cleaning the soleplate or the
boiler.
• Do not use abrasive and scratching objects
on the soleplate when cleaning. Avoid hard contact with metal objects.
• There may be some fabric deposits and other residues on the soleplate.
Those sticky residues can be removed with a damp thick cloth soaked in a
vinegar/water solution. Then wipe off the soleplate with a dry cloth.
•
Never hold the iron or the base unit under the tap.
• Do not place the iron on a metal rest as this could damage it.
• Place it on the iron rest on the base unit: it has non-slip pads and has
been designed to withstand high temperature.
• Your Steam Station will give the best steam and last longer if you
rinsing out the water tank regularly (once or twice a month) to remove
any scale.
