The noise module of the Prophet 5 can be routed to the Prophet VS filter, the Prophet 5 filter,

These connections can be used without an active oscillator (with only auto filters oscillating as a 
sonic  source,  for  example,  generating  a  sinusoidal  wave  form).    It  is  possible  to  connect  the 
filters of the two synthesizers together or the two in a series.
