To end, add a modulation of the filter cut frequency by one of the two LFOs of the Prophet VS.
Click on the “Modulations” button on the right-hand screen of the Prophet VS to make the
modulation matrix appear.

filter.

To the right of the matrix grill, you can find a setting for the modulation rate for each
source. Set it as you like by clicking and holding on the amount panel then, scrolling up or
down with your mouse. An end setting is also available by right-clicking (or “shift/click”
on Mac)

The envelopes for the filter and the amplitude are automatically connected to the modules that are available to them.
Thus, it is not necessary to change to the modulation matrix to activate them. However, the modulation matrix will be
indispensable for all other types of connections as well as for the settings for the amount of modulation.
3.4
The Hybrid Interface
The Hybrid interface offers a combination of the two synthesizers stacked one on top of the
other. It permits you to create a large variety of sounds never before heard thanks to the mix of
subtractive synthesis of the Prophet 5 and the wave-table synthesis of the Prophet VS.
To familiarize you with how the sound works, let’s start be opening the Hybrid interface. Click
on the button entitled Hybrid in the tool bar.
