When you select User, the Display prompts you to play a key. When you do, the Display will
show a keyboard octave. Press keys to turn notes on (white) or off (black). In this way, you
can build any scale you want, from variations like harmonic and melodic minor to exotic
scales from world music.
Every time you re-enter the User Scale display, your current settings will be shown, and you can
further edit them from there.
User scale cannot allow scales with less than one note. If only one note is selected, it cannot
be edited, to be able to do so, add new notes first.
12.6. Chord Mode
The MiniFreak offers a Chord mode which allows you to play multiple notes from a single
key press.
• To enter this mode press the
Chord
/
Scale
button which will be then lit white.
• To change the chord stored hold the
Chord
button and press the desired interval
on the keys.
Once set this chord is saved along with the preset.
• To exit the Chord mode, simply press the
Chord
button again.
To note :
• In Mono Mode, it is still possible to use the Chord mode.
• In unison mode each note of the chord will be detuned by the amount set on the
unison spread.
