To navigate setup, use the arrow keys on the keyboard to highlight items on the menu. All other
navigation possibilities are shown at the bottom of the menu. Additionally, item-specific help
is displayed on the right hand side of the menu window. It displays the help text for the
currently selected field.
If you have performed any unwanted changes or not sure about configuration settings, restore
the default values.
To restore default values:
1. Press <F2 > on the key to return to setup.
2. Press <F9 > to restore the system defaults.
Or
1. Press <F2 > to return to the BIOS setup.
2. Go to the Exit menu and select Load setup Defaults .
The default BIOS values are loaded and the values affect all setup items and also the
previously altered reset options.
Make sure that BIOS is properly configured prior to installing the operating system and its
drivers.
If any changes are saved in the setup, the next time when the card boots, BIOS configures
the system according to the setup selections stored. If those values cause the system boot
to fail, reboot and enter setup to get the default values or to change the selections that
caused the failure.
The default values set become effective only after saving and exiting the BIOS setup. Until
then, they are loaded only for display purposes.
