FUNCTION
LOCAL
Local is the MIDI Channel message that sets whether your keyboard is going to trigger its internal
sounds (Local ON) or not (Local OFF). Normally, playing on the keyboard generates sound while
it sends MIDI messages via the MIDI connector or USB. This mode is called Local On. You can
mute the piano sounds while still sending out the MIDI messages. This mode is called Local Off.
Turn Local on and off in the Function menu.

Press the FUNCTION button.

Press the PAGE ▼ or the PAGE ▲ buttons until "Local" is on the display.

Press the +/YES button to select the Local sub-menu, the currently status will be shown on
the display.

Press the +/YES button to turn Local ON, and the –/NO button to turn Local OFF.

Press the FUNCTION button again to confirm your selection.

To exit the setup mode sub-menu and return to the function menu press the
PAGE ▲ or the PAGE ▼ buttons.

To exit the function menu press the FUNCTION button.

AUTO HARMONY TYPE SELECTING
When harmony is selected, a single note on the right-hand section of the keyboard will sound with
additional auto harmony notes, while the auto accompaniment is playing. There are four types of
harmony that can be selected from the Function menu.

Press the FUNCTION button.

Press the PAGE ▼ or the PAGE ▲ buttons until "Harmony Type" is on the display.

Press the +/YES button to select the Harmony Type sub-menu, the currently selected
harmony will be shown on the display.

Use the +/YES, –/NO buttons to select a harmony type. The available harmonies are:

Press the FUNCTION button again to confirm your selection.

To exit the setup mode sub-menu and return to the function menu press the
PAGE ▲ or the PAGE ▼ buttons.

To exit the function menu press the FUNCTION button.

Duet
adds a harmonizing note sounding below the single right hand note that you
supply when the chord accompaniment is playing.

Close
harmony adds two harmonizing notes sounding below the single right hand
melody note that you supply when the chord accompaniment is playing.
•
Open harmony
adds several harmonizing notes when the chord accompaniment is
playing.
•
Octave
adds a note one octave below the note you play in the right hand section of the
keyboard when the chord accompaniment is playing.
