Push the battery into the bay until it latches into place. The following photo shows a
Telephony Modem with both batteries installed.
Note:
The Telephony Modem will not begin operating until you apply AC
power.

Replace the door. To do so, place the tabs of the battery door into the slot on the Tele-
phony Modem battery compartment. Rotate the door away from you until the two latch-
es snap back into place.
Note:
Some Telephony Modem models use a Lithium-Ion battery pack. The
battery does contain precious material, there may be some benefit in recy-
cling. Please dispose of the battery responsibly and in accordance with local
ordinances.
