2.4 Installation, connection and dismantling
2.4.1 The main installation position of TOP-PAD-IP2 is desktop mounting. With
the desktop installation of TOP-PAD-IP2 on the base of the enclosure there is a stand for
better visibility of the keys (see
). If TOP-HS-IP2 Handset unit or TOP-EC-IP2 Expansion
unit are used, in order to provide extra stiffness the modules can be attached to
TOP-PAD-IP2 by aluminum junction plates supplied with additional modules. Dimensions of
connecting plates, mounting configuration and desktop mounting variants are given in
2.4.2 On request, the scope of supply includes an installation kit for wall-mounting of
TOP-PAD-IP2 consisting of two brackets and an aluminum mounting plate, as well as a set
of fasteners. The layout and the way of wall-mounting of the TOP-PAD-IP2 is given in

of TOP-PAD-IP2 representing the inclination angle changing mechanism and an aluminum

When installation and connecting the cables are completed, fix the microphone
supplied on the front panel of TOP-PAD-IP2 by inserting it into the three-pin socket, aligning
the plug with the slot in the socket, then tighten the coupling nut on the microphone stand
up to block. If necessary, attach the wind protection cover to the microphone.
