2.5 Installation, connection and dismantling
2.5.1 Explosion protection during installation
2.5.1.1 Works in explosive areas must be carried with regard to the requirements
of regulatory documents for operation of electrical equipment under explosive
conditions.
2.5.1.2 Compliance with the requirements of ATEX 2014/34 / EU to meet the
requirement of interstate and national standards.
When installing DWEx, must be guided by Chapter 3.4 of the "Rules for the Technical
Operation of Consumer Electrical Installations" (PUE), "Intersectoral Labor Protection Rules
(Safety Rules) when Operating Electrical Installations", EN 60079-10: 2012,
EN 60079-14: 2012 and other documents in force in this industry.
2.5.1.3 The installation (dismantling) of DWEx is allowed for employees of organizations
licensed to install explosion-proof electrical equipment or permission of the manufacturer.
2.5.1.4 When choosing DWEx installation site, consider the following:

DWEx installation site should provide convenient conditions for operation and
maintenance;

DWEx operating conditions must comply with the requirements of Table 2.

Inspect DWEx, before installing. In this case, check the marking for
explosion protection. Verify that DWEx enclosure, cable glands, cable insulation are
intact
.
2.5.1.6 Connection of external devices to circuits DWEx interfaces and the power supply
circuit must be produced in accordance with the requirements EN 60079-11: 2012. All
installation must be done while the DWEx power is OFF.
Cables used for mounting must be approved for use in explosive areas. The method of
laying cables in explosive areas is selected in accordance with the class of the zone and must
meet the requirements of the normative documents.
2.5.1.7 To protect from mechanical damage and for explosion safety requirements,
cables connected to the DWEx will be fixed in the cable glands to make them free of tension
or torsion.
To ensure explosion-resistance of input devices, unused cable gland must be sealed by
the cable gland plug provided.
