2.4 Preparation for use
The following operations should be performed in preparation for DWEx unit
preparation for use.
1.
Removing DWEx and connection cables from the shipping container.
2.
Removing DWEx and connection cables from the customer package.
3.
Check the scope of supply of DWEx according to product passport.
4.
Inspect DWEx enclosure visually, no mechanical damages (cracks, dents, etc.) on
the enclosure, cover or controls are allowed.
5.
Unscrew the fixing screws and remove the cover.
6.
Check integrity of the explosion-proof box DKV-3.1 for absence of cracks and
damages, integrity of the KIB board.
7.
Check position of DIP-switch contacts «SW2» of KIB board (see description on
Figure 3).
8.
Check the settings of the controllers on KIB board (see description on Figure 3).
The volume controllers of the main amplifier (VOLUME INT), auxiliary amplifier
25 W (VOLUME EXT) and sensitivity controller of integrated microphone
(MIC.INT) before the first turning on should be in mid-position.
9.
Put the cover on its place and fix it with screws.
10.
Install DW unit at the operating site (refer 2.5).
