2.4.2 After installing the DCN-2 in a 19" cabinet (rack) using the fasteners included in
the cabinet mounting parts, connect the electrical circuits to the switchboard in the following
order:

сonnect the DCN-2 connection cable outlet to the DIN41612C-96M DCN-2 plug.

snap the cable board onto a DIN rail mounted in a cabinet (rack).
2.4.3 The DCN-2 connection should be carried out as follows:
1. Make sure that the power switch on the power supply is in the OFF position.
2. Connect the DCN-2 network to the connection cable board. The necessary
connecting cables for connecting the product to the communication lines are
soldered at the installation site.
3. Connect the power cable to the power connector of the product "-48 GND 0V"
(see Figure 6), and then to the power source. To meet the requirements for
electromagnetic compatibility stated in the Technical Specifications, pin 2 of the
power cable connector must be connected to the common grounding bus of
the cabinet (rack). If necessary, connect the functional grounding to the terminal
located on the rear wall of the enclosure.
4. Turn on the power supply, and then DCN-2 with the PWR switch (see figure 6).
2.4.4 After the power is turned on, the firmware is loaded and the DCN-2 devices are
initialized. During initialization, the CPU 1 indication changes according to Table 4.
At the end of the download, the CPU indicator starts flashing green evenly, which
means the normal state of the CPU.
In the passport, make notes about the place and time of installation of DCN-2.
2.4.5 Dismantling of DCN-2 is carried out in the following order:
1. Turn off the DCN-2 with the "PWR" switch. Turn off the power supply.
2. Disconnect the power cable from the power supply, and then from the "-48
GND 0V" connector of the product.
3. Disconnect the DCN-2 network from the connection cable board and the
connection cable outlet from the DIN 41612 connector plug on the back of the
DCN-2.
4. Remove the connection cable board from the DIN rail.
5. Remove the product from the cabinet (rack).
6. Pack DCN-2 in individual packaging.
