3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT WARNING
• This type of appliance uses volcanic stone as heat emitting material.
Before putting the appliance into operation, you must fill the stone grate
below the food grate with volcanic stone (approximately 7 kg) to obtain an
even distribution of the stones on the surface of the stone grate.
• Before putting the appliance into operation, to avoid overheating and
useless fumes, fill the tray located under the burners with water to half its
capacity.
• While using the appliance, check the water level and restore the one that
is evaporating.
• Before lighting the barbecue, remove all grease residues from previous
use to avoid any beginning of fire.
• The grid does not maintain a uniform temperature over the entire surface,
the central zone being hotter than the lateral zones; the user must take
into account this functional peculiarity.
• Periodically, the volcanic stone must be replaced to obtain a more even
heat distribution.
• It is necessary to remember that the burner outlet holes must be cleaned
periodically with a wire brush, to avoid any obstruction and allow good
combustion.
These devices are intended for professional use and exclusively for the
preparation and preparation of food.
Its use requires qualified personnel in
this area of the hotel industry.
The controls are used to manipulate the burner taps. They all have two security
systems. One blocking against improper handling and the other through a
thermoelectric valve that cuts off the gas inlet to the burner when it is accidentally
turned off.
