5.9 Function Test and Verification
General speaking, A successful repair means that the performance of a mobile phone
repaired meets the requirements after the phone leaves the factory.General technicians
think that no corresponding conditions are provided to adjust and correct the mobile
phone for each performance. However, the performance test performed for the phone
after repaired is still indispensable, so several procedures are provided below in order to
perform the test for trouble shooting.
1. The entire phone’s functions check:
Observe the performance of the entire phone.Verify by calling and answering a call
whether the call functions, the tone quality, and the ring are in good condition;
further, determine through the manual test functions (key tone and LCD) whether
the related functions of the phone are in good condition.
2. S/W test:
Perform a test for configuration of the software.The saving function of the phone
processed especially for FLASH ROM and EEPROM may be check by dialing. The
function list may be verified by adjustment. Through charging, further verify whether
the logic part runs normally, and observe the capacity of battery for detection function
so as next to determine whether the logic part runs normally.
