unique SCSI ID number. A SCSI channel can connect up to 15

devices. It is necessary to assign a SCSI ID to each device from

a list of available SCSI IDs.

• SCSI LUN

Each SCSI ID can support up to 8 LUNs. Most 6Gb/s SAS con

trollers treat each LUN as if it were a SAS disk.
