1.3 General safety instructions 

 

Your safety is of the most importance to us. Please make sure that you read this instruction 

booklet 

before

  attempting  to  install  and  use  the  appliance.  If you  are  unsure  of  any of  the 

information contained in this booklet, please contact the Retailer where you purchased your 
unit. 

 

 WARNING

Make  sure  you  have  read  the  instruction  manual  thoroughly  and  understand  the  contents 

before you start the installation.

Please keep this manual, the invoice and - if possible - the box with the packing material 

carefully. 

 

Check the device for transport damage. Immediately report damage to the carrier with which 

the device was delivered. 

 

This device complies with all electromagnetic field (EMF) standards. If handled properly and 

in accordance with the instructions in this manual, it will be safe to use as it is based on 
current scientific principles. 

 

This device may be used only for household purposes and for the application for which it was 

made. 

 

Only use the fan indoors. Never operate it in wet rooms or in the rain. Do not use the device 

outdoors. 

 

Never use the device directly next to a heat source. 

 

Do not operate the device in potentially explosive areas. 

 

Do not operate the device in an aggressive atmosphere. 

 

Do not expose the device to directly squirting water.  

 

Make sure the air inlet and outlet are free. 

 

Make sure that the immediate area around the air inlet and outlet is always free of loose 

objects. 

 

To prevent the fan from tipping over during operation, place it on a firm, level and stable 

surface. 

 

Use the fan only in locations where the ambient temperature does not exceed 40°C. Do not 

expose the fan to extreme temperatures. Avoid direct sunlight and heating. 

 

Make sure that the cable does not hang over the edge of a table or counter, touches any hot 

surface or comes into direct contact with hot parts of the device. Do not place the device 
under or next to curtains, window curtains, etc. 

This product must 

not

 be disposed of with household waste! 

Warning!

 Do not put fingers and other limbs in the fan housing!
