Before carrying out any cleaning operation, be sure to have unplugged the appliance from the mains and allow

the appliance to cool down completely.

Remove the head (3) by pulling upwards.

The basket, the stainless steel bowl and the lid can be washed with water and washing-up liquid, being careful

to rinse and dry well after cleaning.

The lid can be cleaned with a dampened cloth and do not immerse in water neither into the dishwasher.

The resistance may be cleaned with a damp cloth. Never immerse in water.

Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.

Do not use chemical or abrasive products, such as metallic scourers, which may deteriorate the surfaces of the

appliance.

Make sure the parts are completely dry before reassembling them.

NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE INTO THE WATER.
Cleaning the filter:

Turn the steel lid upside down and use a flat screwdriver to lift the tabs that hold the filter in place on the lid.

Remove the filter, clean it with soap and water or place it in the dishwasher.

Once the cleaning operations are completed, dry it and put it back in place, closing the fixing tabs.

The red power indicator will remain lit during use.

When placing food in the basket (10), make sure it is as dry as possible. Do not add water, ice or wet

food as this could cause splashes of hot oil.

When frying frozen food, remove the ice particles and completely thaw the food.

Do not overfill the basket.

Slowly lower the food basket into hot oil and cover the fryer with the lid (1).

If frying more than one load, make sure the oil heats up to the required temperature.

WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE CONTROL KNOB DURING THE FRYING PROCESS. STEAM HEAT

MAY CAUSE INJURY.

When the food is ready, remove the lid.

WARNING: removing the lid causes hot steam to escape;  be careful not to expose your face and skin

to steam!

Slowly lift the basket from the boiling oil and hang it on the container using the dedicated hook on the basket

and let the excess oil drip into the bowl.

After draining the excess oil, place the food on a baking tray lined with absorbent paper so that any residual

oil is absorbed.

Do not touch the basket while it is still hot. Always use the handle.

Be sure to turn the temperature control knob to the OFF position and disconnect the fryer.

Do not move the fryer until it has completely cooled.

Note:

In the event of overheating, the safety thermal protector may automatically switch off the appliance.

The  device  has  a  red  button  located  behind  the  removable  body  (4).  The  appliance  can  be  activated  by

pressing this button with a pointed object (for example a pen or a toothpick).

WARNING: before pressing the button, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow it

to cool.
