UNPACKING

This product requires assembly:

 

Carefully remove the product and any accessories from 
the box. All items listed in the Includes section must be 
included at the time of purchase.

installation. Use of a product that may have been

TOOLS NEEDED

Small phillips head screw driver, small wrench

ASSEMBLING THE STAND AND MOTOR HEAD

See Figures 4 - 7.

 

Turn the base lock counterclockwise to remove the base 
lock and washer from the lower stand assembly.

 

Turn the base upside down.

 

Place the weight and washer (dome side down) inside 
the base as shown in figure 5. 

 

Insert base lock through the washer, weight, and base 
then hold base lock in place and place the lower pole into 
the base.

 

Secure pole to the base by turning the base lock  
clockwise (see figure 6).

ASSEMBLY

ASSEMBLING THE MOTOR HEAD, FAN, AND 
FAN COVERS

See Figures 8 - 13.

 

Remove lock knob on top end of the stand assembly, set 
aside.

 

Align the hole in the top of the upper pole with the hole in 
the motor head. Install lock knob into holes and tighten 
securely (see figure 7).

 

Unscrew and set aside the four screws and the nose 
guard from the motor head (see figure 8).

 

Attach the rear fan cover on the motor head.

 NOTE:

 The screw hole in the rear fan cover must 

be at the bottom with Arctic Cove logo at the top.  
(see figure 9).

 

Reinstall the four screws and tighten securely.

 

Place the fan blade on the spindle of the motor head and 
align the pin in the spindle with the slot in the fan blade. 
Use the nose guard to secure the fan in place as shown 
in figure 10.

 

Remove the small screw and nut from the bottom of the 
front fan cover. Carefully set aside.

 

Lift the lock levers and slide the hook at the top of the 
front fan cover over the rear fan cover. Line up screw 
holes at bottom of fan covers.

 

NOTE: 

The prongs on the hook must slide over the top 

wire on the rear fan cover as shown in figure 11.

 

Push all the lock levers down to lock the front and rear 
fan covers together.

 

Reinstall the screw and hex nut as shown in figure 12. 
Tighten securely.

ATTACHING THE MISTING RING TO THE FAN 
COVER

See Figures 13 - 15.

 

Loosen height adjusting knob and adjust stand to desired 
height. Tighten securely.

 

Align the clips onto the wires of the front fan cover 
pressing the clips in the positions as shown in figure 13.

 

With the misting tube facing down, push the misting ring 
onto the clips (see figure 14).

 

Hold the misting tube secure against the stand pole using 
the two clips (see figure 15).

CONNECTING THE GARDEN HOSE

See Figures 16 - 17.

  Completely uncoil the garden hose to prevent kinks.

  Run water through the hose for 30 seconds to clean any 

debris from the hose.

  With the faucet turned completely off, attach the end of 

the garden hose to the misting tube coupler. Tighten by 
hand.
