If you have an electrical outlet installed specifically for the
purpose of charging the FUV, ask your electrician to
install an extra heavy duty industrial grade receptacle.
These are optimized for the high continuous currents
present when charging your FUV. It is recommended that
electrical outlets for use with your charger be installed by
a licensed, qualified electrician.
DANGER
: Improper use of portable
electric vehicle charge cords may cause a
fire, electrical shock, or burns, and may
result in damage to property, serious
injury, or death.
Do not use extension cords, multi- outlet
power strips, splitters, grounding
adapters, surge protectors, or similar
devices.
Do not use an electrical outlet that is worn
or damaged, or that will not hold the plug
firmly in place.
Do not use an electrical outlet that is not
properly grounded.
Do not use an electrical outlet that is on a
circuit with other electrical loads.
