Active Management Technology (Intel
®
AMT) is a hardware-based solution
that uses out-of-band communication for basic management of client systems,
which allows a system administrator to monitor and manage the computers and
other network equipment by remote control even if the hard drive is crashed, the
system is turned off or the operating system is locked.
